Arrive and Drive event

An incredible opportunity for children ages 4.5 to 17 to get behind the wheel of a Quarter Midget Car and see if this exciting motorsport is right for them! Whether your child just wants to experience the thrill of the track or you're exploring a potential long-term commitment, everyone is welcome to participate.

Eligibility:
We can accommodate participants who are under 5'6" in height. If your child is taller, don’t worry—they can still join the sport in the future with a custom car designed to fit their size.

Safety First:
For everyone's safety, the cars will run at controlled, reduced speeds. All safety gear is provided by the Club, but we ask that participants wear closed-toe shoes (no Crocs or sandals, please).

What to Expect:
When you arrive at the track for your scheduled time slot head to the tower to check in, complete any final paperwork needed for track access, and pay $20 cash to participate for 10 laps or $40 for 20 laps. From there you will head down to the pole barn and meet one of our volunteers who will fit your child into appropriate safety gear and seat them into a car. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

To help us speed up check-in and ensure your child is ready to get on the track, we ask that you complete the NASCAR Youth Series Ride N Drive Event Sign-Up (https://usacracing.redpodium.com/2026-nascar-youth-series-membership) after receiving your confirmation email. This will need to be completed in full prior to arriving at the track.

Please follow these steps:

    1. Visit the NASCAR Youth Series website and complete the Ride N Drive – Club Event form https://usacracing.redpodium.com/2026-nascar-youth-series-membership

    2. Membership type - “Ride N Drive - Club Event”

    3. Single Event Name - Arrive and Drive

    3. Single Event Start Date - May 30, 2026

    4. Primary Applicant Information please complete all boxes that contain asterisks. This section is looking for the parents/guardians info only. 

    5. NYS Home track - Little T (Thompson) CT

    6. Drivers for this section it is ok to add all children that will be driving, as long as they have the same parents/guardians. You may want to do this with your child present as you will need to take headshot photo.

    7. Additional Handlers if anyone, other than the above registered is joining and plans to be near the racecars this is the section to add them

Important Note: Even if you are a current Little T member and your child is participating in this event, you will still need to fill out the Ride N Drive form, as this event is separate from your existing membership.
